Welcome to the Home of
Bruce County Beef Farmers
Committed to our Animals
Worried about how beef is raised? It's important to farmers too...which is why we work closely with veterinarians and nutritionists to provide the best possible care for our animals. Bruce County Beef Farmers are dedicated to ensuring their cattle are healthy, safe and well-cared for. Bruce County Beef Farmers follow the Canadian Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Beef Cattle, a national code in place to ensure farmers have up-to-date information on animal care.
Committed to the Environment
Bruce County Beef Farmers work hard to protect and improve their land and ecosystem for future generations. In Canada, producing one kilogram of beef now creates 15% less greenhouse gasses, and 17% less water than it did in 1981, due to improved production practices.
Committed to Quality
Bruce County Beef Farmers are proud to serve their product to their family and friends. Did you know you can only get vitamin B12 from animal sources? Beef is one of the richest sources of vitamin B12 – a 100-gram serving of cooked beef provides 125% of your daily needs, helping to maintain a healthy nervous system and brain.
